Ismar Daniel Kühneisen exits UNIQA Group

From 8th of May 2019, the responsibilities from Ismar Daniel Kühneisen are taken over by Carsten Abraham, 48 who will act as CEO of UNIQA Liechtenstein. Born in Germany and graduated in Business Administration, Carsten Abraham joined UNIQA Group in 2006 and has had several Management positions since then. In 2016 he was appointed as CFO of UNIQA Liechtenstein which ensures that he will continue the successful development of the company and strategic positioning together with his team. The revised future strategic positioning of UNIQA Liechtenstein will be driven by dynamic market developments regarding digitalization and alternative business models in order to be able to meet also in future tailored to suit customer needs solutions.

Ismar Daniel Kühneisen, CEO of UNIQA Liechtenstein, decided to leave the company on mutual agreement with effectiveness from 8th of May 2019. He had joined UNIQA Group in 2002, and from 2005 to 2013 he contributed considerably to its dynamic international expansion. In 2013, Ismar Daniel Kühneisen took over the function of Managing Director in UNIQA Liechtenstein with responsibility for the successful repositioning of the company since then. When now leaving the company, he can take a look behind to a well-established insurance company, equipped with excellent reputation and capital base.
